FUZZ なギターサウンドと日常をアシストするような優しいメロディを奏でる、ギターとドラムの2人組ユニット「アシスタンツ」の新曲2曲収録8cmCD シングルをリリ―ス

スケートボードという板にタイヤが4つ付いた非常にアナーキックなアイテムを日常に溶け込ませながら退屈から脱出する。スピードを感じる風景、流れる光、風の匂いが8ミリフィルムの質感になってオレを魅了し始める。そういう瞬間に装着したヘッドホンから聴こえてくるのはいっつも大阪のアイツらだ、ほら、アイツら、、、そう、アシスタンツ。
記憶の中で昔から確かに鳴っていたロックが突然目の前に現れて2 ミリメーターくらい宙に浮いたような感覚になって、オレの日常が少し特別になるようにアシストしてくれるアシスタンツのサウンドを聴き続けたい為にいつもより少し遠いコンビニまでプッシュするんだ。優しい贅沢。
自称「アシスタンツの東日本TO」のオレにもそろそろ熱いレスくれアシスタンツよ!

SK8NIKS、LARGE400、アイドルパンチに在籍するUSG と女性ドラマーAGYA による大阪在住2人組ユニット、アシスタンツ。
前述のバンドはハードコアに属するバンドだが、USG のルーの一つであるDescendents ～ ALL をはじめ、Dinosaur Jr やbloodthirsty butchers にも通じるメロディを重視したギタープレイとFUZZY なギターサウンドに、AGYA によるコーラスが加わることで独自のノスタルジックなサウンドスタイルとなっている。相当なライブ本数をこなしながら、2022 年にアルバム「コンティニュー」のリリース、キングブラザーズとショートツアーを完行するなど、精力的に活動しておりより幅広いリスナーの耳に届いてほしいユニット。
また、ジャケットのアートワークはアルバムと同様、数々の関西のバンドのジャケット手掛ける「マロナスティ」と、フォトグラファー「Hyper Skoburu」によるもの。
